# How-To Steps:
01 - In a large bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and nutmeg if using.
02 - Incorporate eggs and milk, stirring vigorously until a thick, sticky batter forms. Allow to rest for 5 minutes.
03 - Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil.
04 - Press the batter through a Spätzle maker or colander into the boiling water. Cook in batches for 2 to 3 minutes until the noodles float to the surface.
05 - Remove the Spätzle with a slotted spoon and drain thoroughly.
06 - Toss the cooked noodles with vegetable oil or melted butter to prevent sticking.
07 - Set the air fryer to 400°F and preheat for 3 minutes.
08 - Spread the noodles in a single layer inside the air fryer basket, working in batches if necessary.
09 - Cook for 8 to 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the noodles turn golden and crisp.
